“A defining moment in my career was stepping beyond day-to-day operations into transformation and governance work that impacts enterprise-level customer processes. I realized I was operating at a strategic level long before my title reflected it, and I chose to pursue opportunities that required greater visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and influence. That decision was driven by a desire to align my responsibilities with the level of impact I knew I was capable of making.
Beyond my formal role, I lead by bringing structure and clarity to complex environments, guiding cross-functional transformation initiatives within a regulated utility setting. I also extend my leadership outside of corporate spaces through my travel business, where I build community and create meaningful experiences for others. For me, leadership is not confined to a title; it is about influence, vision, and consistent execution wherever I am planted.
In this season of my career, I’ve been more intentional about making my work and leadership visible. I’ve taken the lead on key projects, shared insights and best practices with others, and made sure my contributions support both my team and the broader organization.
One moment that stands out is when relationships and networking helped create opportunities for collaboration and leadership. Being connected with people who support and advocate for one another has opened doors for growth and allowed me to expand my influence in meaningful ways.”
