Meet Valentine Torres, MBA.

Business Department Chair & Career Liaison Coordinator, Hobart High School | Founder & CEO, Valutime Solutions | Career Strategy & Organizational Efficiency Consultant

Here is how she is leading beautifully in this season:

“A defining pivot in my career began when I transitioned from serving as Office of Student Placement and World of Work Coordinator where I guided over 400 students in career and college planning to earning my MBA and stepping into the classroom as a dual credit business instructor.

That shift allowed me to move from advising students about opportunities to equipping them with tangible business knowledge and credentials. Over time, that expanded impact led to my current leadership roles as Business Department Chair and Career Liaison Coordinator, where I now influence both programming and long term career pathways at a systems level.

In addition to my leadership within education, I founded Valutime Solutions to help individuals and organizations strengthen strategic planning, organization, and time management systems.

Through this work, I extend my impact beyond the school setting, equipping professionals and students with tools to operate with clarity and intention. I am passionate about helping others maximize both their time and potential.

This season has required me to be more strategic about my personal brand and the expertise I bring to the table.

Through LinkedIn engagement, thought leadership conversations, and the development of Valutime Solutions, I’ve worked to clearly articulate my focus on systems, organization, and career advancement. I’m learning that visibility is not self promotion it’s stewardship of the influence you’ve been given.

Through years of building partnerships with local businesses and workforce leaders, I developed a network rooted in mutual investment in student success. Those relationships opened doors for expanded programming, dual credit opportunities, and career connected experiences that would not have been possible without trust. It reinforced for me that influence grows when you consistently show up with integrity and follow through.”
